A legendary two-door car that was manufactured by the Plymouth division of Chrysler Corporation from 1964 to 1974 is known as Plymouth Barracuda. The first generation Barracuda, a fastback coupe body based on the Plymouth Valiant, had a glass of distinctive surroundings back and was available from 1964 to 1966. In 1967 the second generation of 1969 Barracuda, though still based Valiant, was heavily renovated. The second-generation body cars were available in notchback, hatchback and convertible versions. The 1970-1974 E-body Barracuda, no longer based on Valiant, was available as a coupe and a convertible, both of which were very different from previous models.
